Scott had finally convinced his wife that being carried around in an animal cage was just too demeaning for him. Her suggestion or compromise if you will was to use her purse to transport him around with. Scott seeing no other viable alternatives reluctantly agreed to the embarrassing alternative.
It was no problem for Louise as he didn't weigh hardly anything these days and it would allow her to travel with him much more innocuously, rather than having all of the attention that the former method had drawn.
And so it was settled. Scott would become extra baggage or luggage when they both needed to be somewhere. Scott found the constant swaying of the purse to be both nauseating claustrophobic however. Not to mention that in time it would become just as demeaning as the old method was but there was no going back once the agreement had been made so he just had to be unhappy when traveling he would come to the defeated conclusion of.

If I was that small compared to my wife, this would actually be my preferred means of transportation!
